How much do you rule for getting this up and ready for downloading first thing in the morning? I’m fighting the temptation to listen, just so I have it on my Ipod for my listening pleasure while twiddling my thumbs at SFO later today.

    2. Liz on Mon, 1st Jun 2009 9:33 am

We do rule, for many reasons. lol Not so much. Of course, I’ve been waiting to post it since Sat afternoon. Also, I need to email you. Will wait for your dissection…

    3. stargazzer77 on Mon, 1st Jun 2009 1:18 pm

Just got in from work and your podcast is up YAY!

The Will and Grace line was too funny had me choking on my dinner but the mention of Franks nipples nearly brought it back up!!

And the “never fear, Frank is here” courtroom moment kick started my keyboard tourettes, lots of bad words when talking about it with friends.

      Fantastic podcast as always!!!!!!

    4. Dani on Mon, 1st Jun 2009 4:27 pm

Lana – if anything on this site is ever late/last minute, it’s definitely not Liz.

star – I figured if I had to be horrified by fripples, I wanted to make damn sure I wasn’t the only one.

yuck. I should be careful visualizing that sort of thing when I’ve had sushi for lunch.

    5. JCF on Mon, 1st Jun 2009 6:58 pm

FYI, Internet Explorer is really not liking your site today (whereas no prob in Firefox).

I’d comment more, but I’m told my download has 3:25 (that’s hours and minutes!) to go… ;-/

    6. Rachel on Mon, 1st Jun 2009 7:19 pm

The Frank hatred? Warms the cold depths of my soul.

However, the foot fetish thing? EW! Feet are nasty.

    7. WannaB on Mon, 1st Jun 2009 8:48 pm

fripples is quite possibly the funniest thing that i have ever heard!

    8. Lana, Snapper, Whatever on Tue, 2nd Jun 2009 12:24 am

No notice of Olivia’s tiny, quiet, whispered “I love you”???? My missive is on the way. I’m traveling in the land of no WIFI, so I’m slow.

    9. Kishiyaya on Tue, 2nd Jun 2009 1:17 am

      Liz/Dani!!!!
*tears streaming* LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL *gasping for breath* I have to say this may be your most fun/funniest podcast to date – I was DYING! Ded, just ded. A truly must listen. ha, ha. Blerg was my word for the week too.

Once my “brain” recovers, my real notes will follow.

    10. ashleelynn7 on Tue, 2nd Jun 2009 2:49 am

Ok seriously, how funny are you guys, seriously?? So funny and awesome that I am proclaiming Liz and Dani “Goddesses of the Podcast” for reals.

Dani, the Will and Grace line had me literally on the floor DYING. No joke. LMAO! And you totally used the word probalsome and didn’t even think twice about it. That totes made me smile lol.

Liz, your reaction to Dani’s Will and Grace line was the best. Anything that will make you laugh is ok in my book lol. On a semi-serious note, I LOVED your comments on single parenthood. I, too, was raised by a single mother so I can definitely relate to stuff with Rafe and the douchebaggy judge. So Kudos for that :)

Again, you guys totally rock my socks. That is all :)

    11. alliCarolinaGrl on Tue, 2nd Jun 2009 1:50 pm

Dani, you said BALLS. Girl… *shakin head*

Awesome podcast! I was laughing out so loud that my pug got pissed and left the room. HA!

    12. girlboston on Tue, 2nd Jun 2009 5:08 pm

Dani!! Whitey bulger!! LOL..you must be my neighbor :)
..i was listening to podcast on train going to work this am and the train got stalled in the tunnel that is under the harbor! usually i panic but i just cranked up the volume on your podcast..and whalla..no panic attack! you guys really are VALIUM!

    13. Liz on Tue, 2nd Jun 2009 7:34 pm

JCF- IE is a bitch and can bite me. It clearly is a bitter Fratilia fan. It always hates our site.

Rachel- Boy feet are nasty. Im fine with some girl feet, and obvs baby feet win the world, but yeah, boy feet offend me on a personal level.

Lana- We hear no “I love you”. I’m not going to say you’re wrong- but you are clearly on crack.

Kishi- no stealing words for the week. Unless you came up with it first in which case I’ll need to pull this down and re record and that seems like a hassle so I feel like you should really relinquish ownership for the good of all.

Ashlee- we easily work new words into our lexicon. Probalsome is there now like it has always been there. I feel like Nicole and Crystal are on my top ten list of coolest people ever so if they make up words together, I must use them. Good thing neither read this page or Nicole might start sending me random bullshit words I have to start using on a daily basis.
And seriously, all the funny and awesome is Dani. She’s on my top ten list too. And Meatloaf.

Alli- Hehe. Balls. And poor little pug. He’s too cute to be mad at us!

Girlboston- Yay for audio valium! Dani has a very soothing voice I think… I should get her to read me bedtime stories I can put on loop for insomnia nights. Dani- write that down! We need to get on that pronto.

Thanks for listening everyone. Y’all are so fab and funny and awesome. We love ya! XO

    14. Dani on Tue, 2nd Jun 2009 8:21 pm

Rachel – I’m with you. The only job more nightmarish in my mind than undertaker is podiatrist. Seriously couldn’t do it. I have nice feet, though. It’s just that most people don’t.

WannaB – I say the same thing about Eddie Murphy “Raw.”

Lana – She so does not say that.

Kish – No dying allowed before they kiss!

ashlee – Don’t listen to Liz. Although she is on my top ten list for awesome/funny.

alli – I didn’t mean it like that, I swear! It just came out. Cue Beavis laugh.

girl – no prescription needed. ;)

    15. Lana, Snapper, Whatever on Tue, 2nd Jun 2009 9:52 pm

Talk about the methheads holding an intervention for the crackhead. I promise you – I did not imagine it, even if it’s only audible if you 1) use headphones and an Ipod 2)put the volume at 10 and 3) watch CC’s lips. It probably also helps to be slightly obsessive about Otalia, but you’ve already got that in your corner. I thought I’d imagined it, but several others at BPD brought it up separate from me mentioning it here.

    16. Lana, Snapper, Whatever on Tue, 2nd Jun 2009 9:52 pm

PS – Ten more vials of crack, please.

    17. JCF on Wed, 3rd Jun 2009 12:13 am

Liz, did you ever get to why you disliked Liv/CC’s vest? (Translation for Brits: “waistcoat”. I learned that from the Brit Girls Do podcast. Podcasts are going to be the death of my dial-up, I swear…)

FWIW . . . I happen to agree. Not that it was bad, but just that didn’t like it near as much as the “Date Night” vest of late April. The vest last (and this) week has that scoop front, which—to me—just looks kind of silly (No, Dani, I wouldn’t even bother to try to convince you of same—what w/ “the attributes” that scoop emphasizes *g*)

Other than that, another rockin’ pod. I’m glad you didn’t dump on Rafe to the degree that some have—first and foremost, he is Nat’s “kid”. To dump on him would make Nat sad, and as JetGirl’s icon sez, “Every time Natalia is sad, a puppy dies!” ;-p

    18. Kishiyaya on Wed, 3rd Jun 2009 1:26 am

And Liz what was that with my stealing your word…well, that was actually just a simple mispelling, a typo if you will, and its only phonetically similar. My actual word was “bluurg” which is from the RedBullese and loosely translates as “Ignore Liz and whatever Dani just said goes!” Sorry for the confusion.

    19. ashleelynn7 on Wed, 3rd Jun 2009 1:59 am

BTW, since you said anything with Jane Lynch is 100% awesome(which I totes agree with) you should really watch Glee. It’s a unique show for sure, and it’s just a suggestion, but just the presence of Jane Lynch makes it worth your time, cuz she is fantastic. :)

    20. Lana, Snapper, Whatever on Wed, 3rd Jun 2009 6:21 am

Is this where I come to confess that I have every episode of of the short-lived-but-absurdly-wonderful Lovespring International (starring Jane Lynch) on my Ipod?

    21. Liz on Wed, 3rd Jun 2009 8:51 am

Maybe its the ipod Lana. Because I have watched the scenes 10,000 times, with the volume all the way up, and you’re on crack.

Obvs I need to add bluurg to my vocab pronto. Thats generally just a good rule for life.

And OMG how amazing is Glee? I cant wait for it to come back! I may or may not have broken my DVR with that thing. Soooo awesome.

And the vest. I think its the white buttons maybe? I dont know, I just don’t feel like I like it. I still maintain that I’d rather see each character in the same 5 outfits that fit and look great and make sense for them over and over than see them in 100 random WTF? inducing outfits.

    22. Luckysas on Wed, 3rd Jun 2009 3:46 pm

      Hey Liz and Dani,
Just thought I’d say Hi, since I’m stalking you on Twitter now. Love your Podcasts…very snarky! I’m wondering what you both look like though. I like to see the faces those voices belong too.

      Anyways…Keep it up!

In my mind I commented on this episode already. weirdbrainz.

      So here it goes:

      - I didn’t like the vest either. It’s so yodely.

      - I’m worried about Lizz.

      - it’s the Good Frankasm and that she didn’t get it. Lihizzzz, really? oy.

      - of course Beavis is a compliment, duh. And “brilliant” is an understatement. But now I’m not sure anymore it’s really the Beavis, there’s just too much cuteness in the high squeals that doesn’t get covered with the Beavis. oh well, there you go, maybe you’re unique after all, yay!

      - Still very much with you on the Jeffrey.

      - I suggest a renaming: pancakesandavaliumandadouchebagandanasshatondarkhair.com
      I know, catchy.

      - Wait, my sister gets all the jokes on Will and Grace too! And here I thought she’s not a follower of the unicorn.

      - Okay, the thing I noticed about Frank lately: Has he been working out excessively or did someone take in his seams? Or a muscle suit? Blake’s gonna be so disappointed.

      - Dani, every time you do the MumbleBuzz you sound like a turkey and I love it! (Lizz Winstead, Beavis, Gollum and a turkey? So intriguing.)

      - The flattened scarf just cracked me up. belly drapes.

      - Stripey underwear does not deserve hate mail.

      - “horndog” is such a croopy word, meh.

      - The nipples take me right back to The Hoff. Clearly they are one and the same person.

      - word of the week: CHICKEN!

    24. NNN2u on Fri, 5th Jun 2009 12:18 am

I’ve read/heard several discussions on the same episodes and you have a totally unique “take” on them….for one thing…Frank and his nipples–what a nightmare. Rafe..sorry, but after this week, he needs to be banished forever.

But my favorite…the stripey underwear and the jeans. You know you are a follower of the unicorn if you notice and can report on the underwear. I was almost literally on the floor laughing. LOVED it. No disrespect meant to anyone, it is just the way it is…

BTW, the vest may have been yodely (see prior post) and I would have dressed her in a different vest, but the concept of her wearing a vest and jeans was enough for me.

Note to wardrobe department–”menswear” styled vests must be acquired immediately….

I look forward to your next…

Does it make me a bad person that I just now listened to this? The obvious answer would be yes! However, in my defense, I was distracted because one of you sent me sexytime videos, and the other was being a hag and wouldn’t make me the sexy time video I asked so kindly to receive. Going with this logic, it’s obvious that I am not to be blamed for just now getting to this.

      I love you two!

    26. Teri on Sun, 7th Jun 2009 5:11 pm

Enjoyed the podcast. Loved that you get all the jokes on “Will & Grace”

What’s the bit about Olivia being a Nun?

Looking forward to the next one!

Part one of Liv as a nun episode. You’re welcome!

I know this is months old, but I’m new and I’m commenting anyway.

I love the Spashley talk in this podcast. I would never have been introduced to Otalia if I wasn’t a Spashley fan. I don’t know if either of you listened to the Southcast podcast, but Dani, you remind a lot of Jen on that podcast. Don’t know if you like her, but I mean that as a compliment.

Also, I have big feet and I’ve never heard anyone say to me that it’s a good thing. Ever. Apparently, I need to meet people like Dani.

Anyway, you two are so funny. Love the snark! I’ll be sure not to miss future podcasts.
