IF I have to endure “That Spoiler” being true (currently, I’m cruising De Nile on the Good Ship “Red Herring”!), I’ll bloody well do it while watching the show, and NOT accompanied by the terminal bitching of the AfterEllen ledge ho’s! ;-p

As I mentioned in an email to L&D, Matt is well on his way to becoming the male Reva. That man was downright beautiful when he first arrived in Springfield. Now? Not so much. His looks have faded, which isn’t that bad…but his personality seems to have gone the way of the old production model. When did that guy make the shift from “incredibly attractive and swoon-worthy” to “annoying, hopeless piece of crap at getting ANY woman to notice him”? Matt, honey: Blake is anxious to bang ANYONE. Hit on HER! And leave the damned bike at home.

At this point I’ll apologize for opening the can of “which guy would you do, if you had to” worms. I should have opened the “Damn, Dinah looks hot in a uniform!” can of worms. Dress blues never looked so damned good.

1. “Hot snack” needs to stay, because it is the only way to accurately and succinctly describe how I feel when Liz says “fripple.” I don’t know what the other meaning of hotsnack is, but I assume it also has negative/disgusting connotations, and therefore is still an accurate description of the sheer, visceral revulsion that “fripple” triggers for me.

2. I don’t think Marina knows. She’s Frank’s daughter, and therefore couldn’t find a clue with both hands, a searchlight, a S&R team, and a St. Bernard.

3. Bill is too pretty, but less in a “lesbianish man [and therefore totally hot and I'd hit that]” sort of way and more in a “cherubic schoolboy [and therefore NOT hot]” sort of way. So I agree with Liz on that. Lana, you can keep him AND Phillip.

4. I think part of the reason Frank is so bitchy to Olivia is that he came home one day and Marina was listening to Maneater, by Nelly Furtado, since Mallet is too wrapped up in the murder case to give her love. Now, whenever Frank sees Olivia, that song pops into his head and he can’t get rid of it. It takes him to a dark and lonely place. Feel free to join me out on this limb.

5. Matt’s bike is NOT sexy enough for him to talk about it that much.

Dani- Skype and Twitter are both public, and you damn well know you used it in our top ten so you totally lied to Ana. I would never lie to Ana, therefore I am clearly the better friend.

Lana- I couldnt do Bill. He looks like he’s 13.

Melanie- Excellent point re: douche being french. And my feminist/ real life side completely agrees about Kim (Ive said before I actually like her as a person), but my podcast self will continue to ridicule Reva all day and night.

JCF- Um. I bit. I looked. Thats nasty as hell.

Nathalie- You can never get the stench of Reva out of upholstery. I’ve tried and failed.

Okay, so it’s been a batshit crazy week and so this is the first time I’ve had to weigh in on any of this. Here goes…

“Hot Snack” – as you know this word has come back and bit me in the ass in a major way, but I’m still with Dani on this and the word needs to stay. If for no other reasons then because it really does describe the incident with complete clarity, and it’s capable of providing us with a wealth of comedy material for months to come…and you know it’s true! Don’t hate.

Also, Blake over Reva any day. All day.

Reva? Really? I mean what gets that smell out of the couch? That’s just nasty :-p

While I’m totally on Team “Just Make Out, Bitches”, I appreciate it, D&L, that you’re not saying that in a TWoP hater kind of way. It’s torture, but it’s a hurts-so-good kind of torture, keeping us waiting. [At least, that's my story today. By tomorrow/next week, I may be all over the "F' the CBS/P&G/GL suits for all this waiting for grrl-on-grrl kissage bullsh*t" train]

I may not have time to email my Top10 before Friday (day I fly home from Calidornia to Michigan), but I doubt I can come up w/ a more visually beautiful scene than *The Mirror Scene*: always leaves my tongue lying about on the floor somewhere…

Dani – Reva certainly WAS rad back in the day, but you had to be there, you know? If you go there, you have to go as a tourist and remember that big hair was really hot….and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders were a big, fucking deal. And, you know what, even though she’s a mere shadow of what she once was, I still love it when Olivia and Reva have screen time together…CC and KZ have a wonderful, I-hate-you-bitch-but-secretly-sort-of-love-you-in-a-completely-nonsexual-way-and-we-should-be-best-friends-because-together-we-could-rule-the-world vibe.
