    So, last week was huge- and this week we wanted to get back to our roots. You guys. We started this to have fun and play around with other Otalia goofballs so this week we organized a nice little game of trivia. Thanks to Toaster and Ana who were our lucky victims / participants.

    Also back to our roots is being late on Friday. Deal.

      This pod is really funtabulous. I might have some explaining to do to my cubicle-neighboring co-workers for randomly yelling out answers.

      Liz and Dani – I think someone needs to come up with an Otalia quiz at your level, and you guys should go head to head.

      Heather- I had the same thought! We need to put together the some super-expert-P.H.D level questions and let Liz and Dani loose in the mother of all Otalia Triva Cage Matches. :p Who do you think would win?

      Notoaster is an excellent drunk. Especially when she *mentions* how drunk she is. “Blood type: hotness” is my new favorite phrase.

      Oh jeez. I honestly don’t remember saying half of that. I love how I said “uhhhh…” like twenty times. I also mentioned my drunkenness about five times. Good times…

      Yes to Liz vs. Dani trivia smackdown! It would be an epic battle.

      Cheers to Ana and Notoaster on being the first ever PaaV Otalia trivia contestants, you managed splendidly – in fact kudos on creative answers; I think there should always be points for great non-answers! As your fellow PaaVites, we should have warned you that Liz and Dani, well, they sound nice and all, but don’t let that deceive you!!

      Like let’s play a fun game of Otalia trivia…like finish the quote, with like a word?…no instead, finish the paragraph/soliloquy? Really? That’s not trivia, they’re channeling the Urkel!

      So I too thought the next round for us to play was stump Dani & Liz. But am liking Liz versus Dani even better! Very nice, people. I’m all for it, and am willing to travel into deepest, darkest clips to exhume the tiniest bits of obscure trivia. And better yet, recite this scene! ha!

      Of course, this will not be an easy task – they probably have watched these clips in total, far more than all of us combined – I mean they DO do a weekly Otalia podcast…and that’s pretty damn geeky.

      I would be up for Liz vs. Dani, but I admit, some of Liz’s questions I had no fucking idea about.

      I think my geekery extends to contextual stuff only, if that makes sense.

      Emma’s birthday month? That’s just unfair. However, I will say that I am a quote machine – it’s a talent. So I’m sure those quote completions seemed totally unfair, but it’s something I could definitely do.

      Bring it on.

      The only question that was way over the top was the blood type question. There is nothing unreasonable about expecting people to know Emma’s birthday month!

      really enjoyed the trivia…love the idea of a liz v. dani throwdown. where can we send questions? that could be contest in and of itself – “stump the dorks”, lol ;)

      Great fun! I didn’t think the trivia was too hard, well that blood type question was a bit crazy. I did pretty good, got 16 right out of 20, that makes me a pretty huge Otalia geek, right?
      I think there needs to be a trivia podcast where Liz and Dani face off, that would be entertaining!

      Since Liz & Dani have foolishly agreed to take part and I’d really like to see who emerges victorious from the Otalia Trivia Thunderdome, all deviously clever questions can be sent to pohrterville[at]gmail[dot]com.

      Looking for 20-30 questions to stump the resident Otalia experts in the already established ‘Frenemies’, ‘Coupledom’, ‘Quotes’ and ‘Family Matters’ categories and/or whatever new and evil categories your questions may inspire.

      Send one, send 30. The more the merrier. But if you really send 30, I think that kinda makes you the Otalia expert and you win by default. :p
