Dani: Asking for a video game (or, for argument’s sake, all 7 seasons of DS9 on DVD) for one’s birthday isn’t juvenile. It’s the right thing to do, dammit. Appreciating the greatness of Grant Aleksander? Starfish sex? Rock on with your dope self, homey.

I’m with Liz re Frank. Liv knows that Frank is still hurting over the marriage thing, and that he’s emotionally pretty much 3 years old. It’s actually pretty cruel of her to push his buttons re Natalia. I mean, really, why would you ask HIM, of all people, about Natalia? She was totally bucking for a nasty comeback because she wanted to feed her inner Olivia-hater. We go back to the things we know and trust when we’re in despair. Self-loathing is what Olivia knows and what she knows she can trust.

I don’t care how hot and sexy Liv is, Rick+hot dog+ penis innuendo is a hideous image, and NOT sexy. Also, another FUCBS: this fucking show is teeming with penis references (Josh and his beeper???) but we can’t get some Amish-level kissing between two chicks????

Josh has never, ever been sexy or nice. He can clearly see that Liv is in a bad place and in no position to say yes to sex, but he’s like a bobcat lying in wait. Disgusting. Especially considering the fact that he knows that Josh+Olivia ALWAYS ends up in Olivia getting hurt. Always. Because he always leaves her for Reva. ALWAYS. I was initially all for a quick fuck for these two, but Olivia is so freaking hurt and desperate, now, that it would be just awful, at this stage. She’s way past the point of just wanting to get some sexual satisfaction – she needs to be loved, now, and Josh knows full well that he can’t and never could give her that.

Why isn’t Liv telling Rafe to fuck off, instead of asking him to be nice? She has nothing to lose by just telling him that he’s a fuckwad, and I really believe that’s what Olivia would do at this point – lash out at him and tell him to go fuck himself. I seriously want someone to call Rafe on how very UNCHRISTIAN he is.

I love Blake, but I’m with Dani – she’d be annoying right now. And, really, how sucky would it be to hang out with Blake if you knew, deep down, that she had info about where Natalia was and why she was gone, but wasn’t sharing it???

Nope, Doris was never anything but repulsive and nasty before getting involved in the Otalia storyline.

Dani, its ok to ask for video games for your birthday. I’m a gamer chick and my poor girlfriend loses me to games like Mass Effect and Fallout 3 all the time.

In reference to Rafe’s hat, it looks like her was wearing it backwards. I really just wanted to grab it off his head and look for the tag. I’ve seen those hats before I don’t think your suppose to wear them that way…I’m just saying.

No show, in the history of ever, has given me such whiplash between the emotions rage/loathing/disappointment/whimsy/adoration/hope/love as fucking Guiding Light.

I feel like I’m fucking bipolar now or something.

I like Josh, but he is turning into a major skeevy mcsleezerton.

Why isn’t Mel in every episode?

I miss Dinah.

Olivia is looking very “Carly” lately.

I wish Shayne would have gotten to punch Frank too.

Reva continues to provide me with endless amusement. I don’t know why I can’t take her seriously. I just can’t. She’s unintentionally hilarious to me.

Marina is much more bearable when she is without Mallet.

I will now and forever love the phrase “Douchenozzle” It’s so much better than the bag. It’s the business end of the douche and the part that sees most of the action.

And re: this week and Natalia’s return. Bitches makeout, that is all.

Great pod, ladies. I’m glad you had Otalia-related stuff to discuss. I’ve got to say, though, I’m on board with those people who say they’d listen to you recite phone book listings. We’ve just come too far, and I love you too much now

I’m glad you addressed the Olivia ‘monkey’s paw’ issue. It was kind of cute seeing CC act so comfortable on screen, but on the other hand, grabbing shit with your toes is not hot. Nope. Especially since I watch GL during lunch time.

And EJ’s method acting is getting on my nerves. The Rocky Balboa hat and the deck of cards…why? I think in one scene he even flung a card at James. Awkwaaard.

Danny, just out of curiosity, how old are you? Your pop culture references seem to go right up my alley.

Haha – Selma, I also immediately thought of Rocky Balboa when I saw Rafe in that ridiculous hat. Argh.

Dani, I am in my late 30s and have been a gamer all my life. I actually work in the video games industry now and always have a few game titles on my wish list for Christmas and birthdays. Girls who game are H-O-T.

I enjoyed the podcast immensely as usual, ladies. Very entertaining. From now until the end of time, I shall refer to most of the residents of Springfield as “the douche brigade”. LOL! That cracked me up to no end.

I have to be honest when i heard that you game Dani i fell in love with you just a little bit. It is so nice to know that I’m not the only one who asks for games on their birthday.

Oh and i loved the podcast and the fact that you had some snark about the foot thing weird that is all i was thinking when i watched it.

This pod was extra hilarious for some reason. I think everyone is/was high off the giddy anticipation of Natalia’s return, which makes Liz’s original word of the week totally legit. “Natalia, Natalia, Natalia, Natalia, Natalia!”

Whatever was in the PaaV air this week just made everything highly entertained, so much so that when Liz popped off about Olivia’s ugly jacket and the angel losing its wings, I pretty much lost it. Unfortunately, I was eating yogurt at the time, and in an effort to keep from doing a spit-take on my laptop, I covered my mouth with my hand…the end result was pretty gross and I had to change my shirt, so thanks for that. :p

I did love what Dani had to say about the talk with Doris being the catalyst for Olivia to finally begin to pull herself back together and you actually saw some of that new attitude of “I’m still broken, but I’m ready to start putting some pieces back in place instead of grinding them to dust” play out on screen today… just in time for Natalia to roll back into town blow that shit to smithereens. Irony is so ironic that way.

I would like to add some other intelligent observations about last week, but the return of Jessica Leccia’s real-time dimpled smile and frowny sad face seems to have erased my short-term memory. About six weeks of it. Why is Olivia so mad again?

Hold your gaming head high. Eve asks for a video game for every gift-giving event of her life, and I still love her. Therefore, I still love you.

P.S. Still wrapping my mind around the fact that Nat is back. It’s like when you get a haircut and wake up the next morning knowing that something is different, but not quite remembering what. Then you realize that this is the best haircut you’ve ever gotten.

One complaint – never, ever, never, ever, need to hear about Dr. Rick, Hot Dogs or Penis’ on this or any podcast, felt like Hot Snackin’ it for a while after that discussion.

Toasty friend- This show is very emotional. Fraking soaps. lol When I first got into it, a friend of mine told me she had to stop watching soaps because they made her feel so overly dramatic. I do not know why Mel isnt in every episode / involved in a lesbian trist with Dinah. And Reva is hilariously awesome.

Selma- Dani could probably make the phone book hilarious. She’s awesome that way.

Alexa- Working in video games is awesome. Good for you for turning a passion into a career. I need to do that…

Lovely Maggie 23- You’re really missing out on the pants thing, but I respect your decision. As all adults should do. (Dani’s actually older than me, isnt that nuts?)

Sharon, that foot thing was not ok. Unless you have a foot fetish at which point it was probably super hot. Whatever, I dont judge.

Porter- Sorry for getting your shirt dirty. We once flat out ruined a pair of Riots pants. We suck with clothing… Ironic irony is awesome.

Heather- Natalia being home has set the world right again. food tastes better, smells smell smellier, the sun is brighter (which sucks for me because I have very sensitive eyes).

Lisa- Dani is abusive. Really. lol Actually we were on the phone when she read your comment and said, “Wow, I did? Im so sorry!! I’ll have to do something next week to make up for it.” So you know, I think I got chocolate chip cookies out of it (hint*hint) so its fine. She’s such a diva…. And dude, Dr Rick is the worst soap Dr ever. Good thing Nat cares about healthy food or else Gus/Olivia’s heart would explode. She needs so good old fashioned wifey love Nat, and STAT!

Lynda – if that’s wrong, then I’ll never date a girl who’s right, now will I? Not only do I own my geekiness, I’m High Empress of Geekland.

Lana – Word up (see what I did there?) on the hotdog disgusting-ness. I was literally floored seeing people on twitter talking about how sexy Liv looked licking her lips and shit. All I could see and hear was Rick wolfing down meat talking about penii.

Josh is a creepster and he deserves all the blue balls in fratland for everything I’ve said. It was taking advantage, plain and simple. And I used to think Josh was a little bit cute, but his slow speech and preying hands have evaporated it for me.

Chi – Yay for more gamers! I loved, loved, loved Mass Effect. I wouldn’t be surprised if Dipshit was wearing his hat backwards. Either way it looked ridiculous.

notoaster – I completely agree re: Mel, as you well know. It boggles my mind that Marina gets to annoy me 3x a week, while Mel is offscreen getting a massage for all but a few days a month. What a waste, man.

SelmaHinkley – Am I the only one that does weird shit while sitting at my desk? I can’t recall picking up pencils with my feet, but I’ve done things close to it. I recently clocked myself in the head with a rubix cube I happened to be tossing in the air.

Alexa – You’re my hero! When I was a pre-teen, I swore I wanted to be a video game reviewer when I got older. Then I realized you had to play a ton of crap games and play even when you didn’t want to. So I decided to become a podcast nerd.

maggie – I was actually really little when a lot of those words were “in” – but I always wanted to speak like my older sister did. So it’s nostalgic. Plus, you know, rad. You’re never too old to say homey.

Sharon – Just a little bit, hmm? E-mail me and I’ll tell you all about my high scores. I kid, I kid.

Porter – No one was more excited about having Olivia stuff to talk about and Natalia’s return on the horizon than us. I don’t think we could have gotten through another podcast without it. I love it when Liz pops off.

Heather – Thanks for the link. Liz loves my “juvenile” qualities – they make her laugh, if nothing else, and that’s the most important thing. That and excellent back rubs. Natalia is back!

Lisa – Now I totally feel guilty. I have promised Liz I will make it up to her in a manner befitting our relationship. That’s all I’m at liberty to say. That weiner scene with Rick was all kinds of wrong on all kinds of levels. I never wish to revisit it.

Ana – Yes! You’ve noticed the increase in Liz’s swearing too. Hehe. Is it wrong that I’m perversely thrilled I’ve been able to corrupt her? I hope not. I think the way she says asshole is super hot and I’m not ashamed to admit it. She’s perfected my art.

Not that anyone gives a shit about what happened last week at this point…seeing as how we’re knee deep in Natalia hotness this week…but I feel compelled to point out that I’m pretty sure that Josh had a total boner during the post makeout / snuggle scene. If you notice, he takes pains not touch Olivia’s back with his crotch, and even goes so far as to put himself in a semi-unnatural position so he could cover his erection with his hand. Just sayin.
