This podcast began as a discussion about the "Otalia" pairing on Guiding Light. We started having long, detailed, geeky conversations about the intricacies of the storyline every night. We figured it would be beneficial to our social lives, relationships, and general sanity to get these thoughts out. We just happened to have a blast in the process.
Now that the Otalia train has officially chugged off into the sunset, we're branching out a little. Podcasts are fun and we totally rule. Honest.
Oh, and we're keeping the "Pancakes and a Valium" name because we a) like it, and b) sometimes need both pancakes and valium in order to deal with the fuckery of lesbian content on television.
